About Messagemark
Founded in 2007 by Adelaide based designer, Kyrie Kohlhagen, Messagemark is a range of earth and people friendly greeting cards and stationary, designed to spread love and joy to others, and to ultimately bring a smile to someone’s face.
Messagemark is committed to producing fun and happy products using 100% post consumer waste recycled paper and bi-products that have been reused and recycled to ensure minimal environmental impact.
With an extensive paper product range that includes Msg, Chat and Jot Cards, and other quirky, enjoyable products such as gift tags, invites, CD cards and wall art, Messagemark has over 40 designs, with each design centred around a hero theme such as Australian Dinky-Dye, Retro Owl and Organic Elements.
Working out of her Largs Bay Studio, and taking inspiration from Scandinavian & mid-century design, Kyrie has spent the last five years weaving her carefree nature, and love of design and all things retro into every card she has created. Inspiration comes from the simplest of things...the colours of an old coffee and tea canister set, or a gorgeous piece of vintage material, and certainly from old and interesting op shops where hidden treasures are uncovered!
Whilst supporting the environment (and op shops!), Kyrie is also a strong believer in giving back to the community. All sales through www.messagemark.com.au raise money to help develop a cure for Cystic Fibrosis through supporting Cure4CF Foundation, an Adelaide charity based at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Messagemark strives to make the world a better place with the small contribution of using materials that are sustainable to the environment, and by lovingly creating beautiful products to spread happiness and joy to others. Messagemark will continue to be inspired by the beauty around it, and the hope is that Messagemark becomes synonymous with recycled paper design.
